Uppity Bike Commuters Collective Manifesto 2018

  1. Uppity Bike Commuters Collective is a statement for the reclamation of Common Public Space.
  2. Uppity Bike Commuters Collective is a public art project.
  3. Public Space is for everyone.
  4. Concepts can be free.
  5.  Ideally, Art is free.
  6. “If we can’t be free, at least we can be cheap.”
  7. Participants can declare themselves members of Uppity Bike Commuters Collective in any situation.
  8. Participants can also renounce membership in the Collective is it is more beneficial to the situation.
  9. Participants do not have to ride a bicycle to participate in Uppity Bike Commuters.
  10.  You do not have to ride a bike to create space for yourself.
